Logos & Identities – Financial Services Providers

The final client-approved versions are at the top of each section. The balance of each section shows optional offerings, variant colors and sample usage.

Originally, this client came with a full-color photograph of a bird's nest with golden eggs in it that he wished to use as his logo. It took a little convincing before he accepted this stylized version that suggested the same idea.
This client wanted a patriotic red, white and blue theme. Unfortunately, it was halfway through a presidential election year, and many of the initial offerings were too suggestive of political signage. By deepening the colors to appear more aged and introducing a hand-drawn look to the icon, the final version appeared more “Americana” than political.
There was some stress developing with the client as we were working on this project. Although not a serious offer, the logo below significantly lightened the mood.
For this logo, the client felt the symbol was too simple. I explained that the “F” (for Faust) completed the circle (the client's financial security). Sold!
Castle Pines is a town of about 10,000 people located 25 miles south of Denver. It was officially incorporated February 12, 2008.
This was a logo “refresh,” but the client wasn't really sure what he wanted refreshed. Turns out, it was the three-dimensional perspective he didn't want!
